An IBA Recipe:

I went to the zoo and all they had was one dog. It was a Shih Tzu.

National Mutt Day has arrived, and what better way to mark this occasion than by diving into the ultimate mixed-breed beverage: the Long Island Iced Tea! This cocktail is the charismatic mutt among drinks, blending four robust spirits with a dash of Coke or Diet Coke for a flavorful concoction that’s as diverse as it gets.

Similar to how a mutt combines different breeds, this drink combines rum, vodka, tequila, gin, and a touch of cola, creating a vibrant taste that pushes boundaries. The medley of ingredients echoes the varied breeds, resulting in a strikingly beautiful and surprisingly seamless outcome.

So, raise your glass and make a toast to the Long Island Iced Tea this National Mutt Day! Cheers to embracing diversity, whether in your drinks or in those adorable mixed-breed pups.

By the way, that fantastic pufferfish straw you see was skillfully crafted by Surfside Sips 🛟! They have all sorts of snazzy glass straws and you can get 20% off of your order with the code SHAKENUP 🛟!

And speaking of delightful drinking experiences, that VISKI Meridian HighBall glass 🛟 is a personal favorite of mine!
