Orange Mai Tai

A riff on Smuggler’s Cove 🛟 version:

Did you hear about the bossy man at the bar? He ordered everyone around.

I couldn’t resist breaking out my Daryl Dixon Polynesian-style mug for this drink, even though it’s not a Zombie. Because, hey, sometimes you just need a little bit of apocalypse vibes in your sip, right? 🧟‍♀️

I decided to roll with the Smuggler’s Cove recipe, keeping it true to those classic Mai Tai vibes. It’s all about that killer combo of dark Jamaican rum and curaçao!

But here’s where I threw a little curveball: I swapped out the lime juice and used orange juice, which I adjusted to the same acidity as lime. How, you ask? Well, I picked up some savvy tips from the book “Tropical Standard.”
